Ortur R2 Smart 20W Start Package is a ready-to-use educational kit for laser engraving and cutting in a STEM laboratory, equipped with a 20W diode laser, a working area of 300 × 210 mm, a class 1 laser safety enclosed case, an HD camera for precise layout positioning, a touch screen, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity, and support for LightBurn and LaserGRBL software. The equipment allows working with plywood, wood, cardboard, paper, leather, acrylic, and other materials, creating educational models, prototypes, construction elements, signs, and creative products. How the Kit is Used in STEM Education
Creating Models and Prototypes with a Laser
Ortur R2 Smart 20W allows engraving and cutting wood, cardboard, paper, leather, bamboo, acrylic, rubber, silicone, metals with special coatings, and other materials. The class 1 laser safety enclosed case, 300 × 210 mm working area, built-in HD camera with automatic alignment and precise positioning help organize practical lessons in design, technology, and manufacturing under the supervision of a teacher. The laser module power is 20W, the maximum engraving speed reaches 20,000 mm per minute, and the declared accuracy is up to 0.01 mm. The equipment supports Wi-Fi and USB connectivity, touch control, the Ortur app, LightBurn, and LaserGRBL software. This allows students to master the full digital manufacturing process from creating a layout to obtaining a finished product.

Circular Engraving of Cylindrical Products
Ortur YRR 3.0 expands the capabilities of the equipment for the STEM cabinet and allows applying inscriptions, logos, ornaments, and other images around bottles, glasses, jars, thermoses, mugs, and other cylindrical blanks. The roller module provides 360-degree engraving, has six width adjustment positions, and supports working with products up to 100 mm in diameter. Silicone rollers ensure reliable and gentle holding of blanks, and the gravitational clamp allows quick product changes without additional clamps. The module comes assembled, is set up in two steps, and supports engraving speeds up to 3000 mm per minute. It is suitable for individual and team educational work on creating personalized products and souvenirs.

Air Purification During Operation
Ortur 1.0 Smoke Purifier uses a three-stage filtration system, which includes pre-filters, HEPA, and carbon filters. The pre-filter traps large dust and soot particles, the HEPA filter retains up to 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.3 microns, and the carbon filter helps reduce odors and the amount of gaseous compounds formed during the processing of wood, acrylic, leather, and other materials. The fan performance is up to 200 cubic meters per hour, the noise level does not exceed 55 dB, and the estimated filter life ranges from 300 to 500 hours depending on usage intensity. The system helps reduce dust and soot, maintain the cleanliness of the digital workshop work area, and protect equipment from the accumulation of laser processing products.
