• 3D Printers: traditional FDM printing utilizes high nozzle temperatures to melt thermopolymers. To ensure student safety, these 3D printers feature fully enclosed chambers with durable acrylic or glass panels, physically preventing accidental contact with hot elements during operation. When working with Formlabs SLA resins and Formlabs Fuse SLS powder systems, we thoroughly train teachers on ventilation rules and the use of protective gloves.
• Laser Engravers and Cutters: laser radiation is hazardous to the eyes, so we only supply laser engravers and cutters with enclosed protective shields. Our engraver models feature either an active automatic laser shut-off upon lid opening or a system that instantly drops laser power to a safe level of visible light if the protective shield is lifted.
• 3D Scanners: for school environments, we select 3D scanners that use eye-safe structured or infrared light. For more complex engineering-grade laser scanners, we establish clear operational guidelines to prevent direct eye exposure to the beam.
