Functional advantages of the kit

Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2: Classroom performance

The printer is based on the CoreXY architecture, allowing print speeds of up to 500 mm/s with acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s² and dimensional accuracy of 0.1 mm. A fully enclosed chamber, a high-temperature hotend heating up to 350°C, and a heated bed with a temperature up to 110°C create the necessary conditions for working with engineering materials. Process automation includes bed leveling at 121 points, filament end sensors, and a clog detection system, enhancing reliability in an educational environment.

Durable polymer materials for learning

The use of Farm 3D polymer ensures stable material feed through the extruder thanks to a precise diameter of 1.75 mm. The material works effectively at an extruder temperature of 230–260°C and bed temperature of 70–85°C, guaranteeing high interlayer adhesion and minimal shrinkage of about 0.1%. Such filament stability allows for the successful production of functional assemblies, mechatronics elements, and strong prototypes that meet the requirements of the educational program.

Reliable fixation of products with Magigoo Original

Magigoo Original is an adhesive for 3D printing that ensures the first layer adheres to the working surface. During bed heating, the adhesive holds the model, preventing edge warping during printing. The water-based formula has no strong odor and is suitable for use in educational settings. After printing is complete, as the platform cools, the adhesive weakens its grip, allowing easy removal of the finished product without the risk of damage.
