Brief description and capabilities of the kit

Production capacity of CreatBot D400 HS

A professional 3D printer with a working area of 400×400×400 mm, allowing for the implementation of large-scale STEM projects. Thanks to the Klipper control system, support for printing speeds up to 250 mm/s, and extruder heating up to 400 °C, the device ensures rapid prototyping of complex engineering assemblies necessary for studying mechatronics.

Composite filament PLA-CF

This is a modified material with the addition of carbon fiber, which significantly increases the tensile strength and impact resistance of finished products. The recommended nozzle temperature for printing with this plastic is 200–220 °C, and the use of a hardened steel nozzle is mandatory to avoid premature equipment wear. In the educational process, this material allows students to produce fully functional prototypes, industrial components, and equipment, bringing their projects closer to professional production standards. This enables the practical study of the physical and mechanical properties of reinforced composites, which are widely used in modern engineering and technology.

Basic PLA plastic for visualization

An eco-friendly material for learning that provides stable print quality at a nozzle temperature of 190–220 °C. Due to its low shrinkage coefficient, this plastic minimizes the risk of deformation during product manufacturing, making it an optimal choice for STEM projects, design, and creating educational models. The three spools in the set allow for experimenting with the colors of the parts, making the study of design and technology fundamentals more visual.

Ideas for lessons and STEM projects

  • Robotics modeling. Printing chassis elements, manipulators, and sensor mounts, allowing students to assemble and test functional robotic systems.
  • Biomechanics study. Creating functional models of joints and limbs to demonstrate movement principles, using the high rigidity of composite materials for structural reliability.
  • Engineering analysis of parts. Comparative testing under load of products printed from PLA and reinforced PLA-CF to visualize the impact of material composition on the mechanical properties of objects.
  • Device casing design. Developing protective shells for microcontrollers and control circuits, teaching students the basics of ergonomics and fitting parts in a complex product.
  • Mechanism modeling. Printing models of gear transmissions, motion transmission mechanisms, and reducers, clearly explaining the laws of physics and the principles of machine operation.
