HIPS plastic is also a water-soluble plastic, strong polystyrene, dissolves in d-Limonene.

Features:

• Excellent impact resistance, ease of use, and high plasticity (more than 35%);
• Resistance to chemical solvents and alkalis;
• Solubility in the organic solvent Limonene (purified citrus oil);
• Eco-friendliness and suitability for use with food products;
• Operating temperature range from -40 ˚C to +70 °C;
• High tensile strength;
• Low thermal shrinkage;
• Low hygroscopicity compared to ABS and PLA;
• Good post-processing suitability;
• Excellent electrical insulation properties (withstands voltage over 1 kV);
• Matte white color of uncolored material.

• Printing temperature: 220 – 250 °C
• Platform temperature: 100 – 110 °C
• Printing speed: 40 – 90 mm/s
