Dual Laser System 12W + 3W IR
The SCULPFUN E1 Dual version is equipped with two laser sources for working with different groups of materials. To switch to another type of processing, the operator installs the appropriate laser module and adjusts the focus considering the thickness of the workpiece.
12W Diode Laser
The diode laser with a wavelength of 455 nm is designed for engraving wood, MDF, bamboo, leather, dark or opaque acrylic, stone, ceramics, glass, and coated metals. For cutting, wood, MDF, plywood, leather, and dark acrylic can be used. The manufacturer claims the ability to cut wood up to 8 mm thick in one pass. The actual result depends on the type and density of the wood, the type of glue in the plywood, the color of the material, the condition of the lens, speed settings, power, and air supply.
The compressed laser spot size of the diode module is 0.04 × 0.06 mm. This allows for thin lines, small inscriptions, contrasting images, and detailed ornaments.
3W Infrared Laser
The 3W infrared laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm is designed for precise engraving and marking of stainless steel, aluminum, silver, gold, platinum, plastics, and acrylic. The IR module is suitable for applying logos, names, serial numbers, technical markings, and decorative images on small items. It can be used for personalizing metal accessories, tags, jewelry, tools, plastic parts, and coated surfaces.
The infrared laser spot size is 0.03 × 0.03 mm. This makes the module suitable for small symbols and layouts with many fine details. The IR module is primarily intended for surface engraving and marking, not for deep metal cutting.
Closed Enclosure and Safety Systems
The SCULPFUN E1 has a fully enclosed enclosure with a protective viewing lid and belongs to laser safety class 1. If the lid is opened during operation, the laser will automatically stop. An emergency stop button is provided for emergency operation termination, and a USB safety key is used for controlled startup.
The built-in air channel removes smoke from the working chamber. The kit includes an exhaust pipe, flange, and clamp for connection to a ventilation duct or compatible air purifier SCULPFUN SP1. The model is certified by CE, FCC, RoHS, and IEC 60825.
Precision, Speed, and Working Area
The machine's working area is 400 × 320 mm, and the maximum material size for placement inside the enclosure is 450 × 350 mm. The CoreXY system ensures even movement of the laser head at speeds up to 600 mm/s, which is convenient for large layouts, serial markings, and batch processing of products.
The standard design supports workpieces up to 42 mm thick. The quality and speed of processing depend on the type, color, density, moisture, thickness, and coating of the material, as well as power and speed settings. File formats JPEG, PNG, JPG, BMP, SVG, and DXF are supported. The built-in HD camera helps accurately place the layout on the workpiece surface, and in SCULPFUN Space, items inside the working chamber can be viewed, images aligned, and batch engraving of multiple products prepared.
Air Assist and a honeycomb panel are included in the standard kit. Separately, a rotary roller for engraving cups, thermoses, bottles, pens, and other cylindrical items, the SCULPFUN SP1 air purifier, and the Machine Riser Base, which increases the available height of the working chamber, can be connected to the machine. The SCULPFUN SP1 purifier helps remove some smoke and odors, and the built-in air extraction system removes smoke from the working area. Before starting work, the exhaust pipe should be connected to the flange and led to the ventilation duct or compatible air purifier.
