Diode Laser 33W for Cutting and Engraving Large Blanks
SCULPFUN S30 Ultra 33W is a diode laser engraver with a working area of 590 x 595 mm. The 33W laser module forms a beam with a focal spot of 0.08 x 0.10 mm, allowing it to cut plywood and black acrylic up to 15 mm thick in one pass. The model is equipped with a replaceable protective lens Laser Repair Kit and an Air Assist system with a capacity of 30 l/min controlled via the M8 command. Suitable for workshops, manufacturing, and souvenir production.

Key Technical Advantages of SCULPFUN S30 Ultra 33W
- Working area 590 x 595 mm. The large area allows processing large blanks without moving the material during operation.
- Compatibility with laser modules 11W, 22W, and 33W. The machine's design supports the installation of modules of different power depending on engraving and cutting tasks.
- Emergency stop button and safety lock. The equipment can be instantly stopped if necessary, and the lock key prevents unauthorized start-up.
- Laser Repair Kit system for quick replacement of the protective lens. Allows you to independently replace damaged or contaminated protective glass without replacing the entire laser module.
- Metal Air Assist nozzle. The air flow is supplied directly to the cutting area, helping to remove smoke, soot, and material residues.
- Removable protective screen. Helps reduce the impact of reflected laser radiation and simplifies module maintenance.
- Reinforced aluminum frame with a load capacity of up to 50 kg. The rigid structure maintains stability and accuracy during prolonged operation.

Tasks Suitable for SCULPFUN S30 Ultra
The laser system is designed for intensive use and solves a wide range of tasks in various fields:
- Manufacturing decorative elements. High-speed cutting of plywood, fiberboard (MDF, HDF), and veneer for the production of wall panels, designer nightlights, furniture parts, and shaped templates with a clean cutting edge.
- Branding and souvenir production. Applying detailed raster or vector engraving on finished products made of dense natural wood, leather, bamboo, and dense cardboard.
- Production of outdoor and indoor advertising. Manufacturing of volumetric letters, signs, informational plaques, and corporate logos on dark acrylic and painted or anodized metal.
- Prototyping and engineering modeling. Precise cutting of structural elements for architectural models, device cases, and assembly model parts from cardboard, paper, and balsa.
Technological Features of the 33W Laser Module
The SCULPFUN S30 Ultra 33W laser module is based on six diode emitters combined into a single beam with an optical power of 33W. It forms a laser spot size of 0.08 x 0.10 mm at a wavelength of 455 nm, ensuring high precision engraving and cutting.
The focus is adjusted using the included column-stop and sliding mechanism, simplifying preparation for work. The module is compatible with the Air Assist system: the metal nozzle delivers compressed air directly to the processing area, helping to reduce soot and improve cutting quality. The module is also equipped with a removable protective screen, which reduces the impact of reflected laser radiation during operation.
The module has a replaceable protective lens supported by the Laser Repair Kit technology. The protective glass shields the internal optics from dust, resin, and soot, and can be easily replaced without replacing the entire laser module if necessary.
Material Compatibility: Cutting and Engraving
The device supports working with a wide range of materials, the thickness and processing speed of which depend on their density and chemical composition.
- Materials for engraving: natural wood of all species, multilayer plywood, MDF, HDF, cardboard, leather, suede, ABS plastic, two-layer plastic, anodized aluminum, stainless steel grade 304, ceramics, dark stone, slate, tiles.
- Materials for cutting: balsa, pine, and other wood species, FC and FSF plywood, MDF (up to 10.0 mm), dark and colored opaque acrylic, leather, dense cardboard, corrugated cardboard, felt, bamboo, textile non-woven materials.

Warning: Diode lasers with a wavelength of 455 nm are not intended for cutting completely transparent acrylic and any polymers containing PVC (polyvinyl chloride) due to the release of toxic gases that destroy optics and pose a threat to the operator's health.
How to Start Working with the Laser Engraver
For the first launch of the laser engraver, follow the sequential steps for assembling and basic system setup. It is also recommended to watch the video instruction on assembling and setting up the equipment before starting work.
- Assemble the engraver frame according to the instructions.
- Secure the S30 Ultra 33W laser module on the X-axis moving carriage.
- Connect the Air Assist system hose to the laser module.
- Connect the motor, sensor, and power cables.
- Connect the engraver to the computer via a USB cable.
- Install and configure LightBurn or LaserGRBL.
- Perform manual laser focusing using the included cylindrical column-stop.
- Before starting work, perform a test engraving on a sample material to select the optimal speed and power settings.

Operating Tips
- Monitor focus accuracy. Set the focal distance using the included stop before each change in material thickness. Height deviation even by 1.0–2.0 mm significantly disperses the spot, reducing cutting depth and engraving clarity.
- Regularly service the protective glass. Every 8–10 hours of continuous operation, wipe the protective lens with a lint-free cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Soot on the glass absorbs radiation, reduces the effective beam power, and leads to critical optics overheating.
- Test parameters on samples. Start selecting modes for new materials with higher speeds and lower power values. This prevents unnecessary charring of the edges and allows preserving the clear texture of the pattern.
- Follow safety rules. Always use protective glasses if working with the laser module's protective cap removed. Do not leave the machine on without supervision during the production cycle.
Note: The above points are practical recommendations for optimizing the workflow and extending the equipment's service life, not mandatory technical requirements for machine operation.
