Iemai MAGIC-HT-PRO: High-Temperature 3D Printing and Processing of Engineering Plastics
The Iemai MAGIC-HT-PRO 3D printer is designed for FDM/FFF printing with high-temperature polymers such as PEEK, PEKK, PEI, PPSU, composite materials with carbon and glass fiber, as well as standard and engineering thermoplastics. The design includes a closed thermal chamber with active heating up to 120 °C, a heated platform up to 200 °C, and a dual extrusion system with nozzle heating temperatures up to 500 °C. The working area is 310 × 310 × 410 mm. A combined cooling system is used for temperature stabilization: a water circuit for the heat dissipation zone and air cooling for the printed part.
Design Features and Parameters of Iemai MAGIC-HT-PRO
- High-Temperature Heating System: dual nozzle operates at temperatures up to 500 °C, ensuring compatibility with special polymers PEEK, PEKK, PAEK, PEI 1010/9085, PPSU, PPS, and metal-filled filaments 316L.
- Thermal Chamber and Platform: thermal chamber heated up to 120 °C and borosilicate glass platform heated up to 200 °C support the set temperature regime throughout the entire printing cycle.
- Modular Dual Extruder: equipped with an electric individual nozzle lifting system for separate work with main and support materials.
- Performance Parameters: maximum printing speed is 200 mm/s, and material flow reaches 60 mm³/s for a 0.6 mm nozzle when printing PLA.
- Cooling System: water cooling is used in the extruder heat dissipation zone, and air cooling is used for the printed part's cooling zone.
- Mechanical Part: high-temperature linear guides with a synchronous belt are installed on the XY axes, and a T-shaped screw on the Z axis. Positioning accuracy is 12.5 μm on the XY axis and 1.25 μm on the Z axis.
- Electronics and Control: control logic operates on an H618 Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A53 1.5 GHz processor, motion control is performed by an STM32 ARM Cortex-M7 550 MHz under Linux OS with Klipper-based firmware.
- Process Automation: implemented power failure recovery, filament sensor, auto bed leveling, automatic shutdown, nozzle distance calibration on XYZ, and PID auto-tuning.
- Network Interfaces: data transfer is carried out via Ethernet, USB, or Wi-Fi. Cloud Remote OTA / Monitor functions are supported, as well as an authorization mode for local enterprise networks with confidentiality requirements.
Working with High-Temperature and Composite Materials
The extruder design of Iemai MAGIC-HT-PRO is designed for the use of composites containing carbon fiber and glass fiber. The declared dimensional accuracy is 100 mm ± 0.15 mm for most materials and 100 mm ± 0.2 mm for special engineering polymers. The basic configuration includes hardened steel nozzles with a diameter of 0.4 mm and optionally 0.6 mm.

Control of Work Processes and Integrated Protection
Parameter settings are made through a 5-inch color touchscreen with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. Printing is supported through slicers IEMAI 3D SLICER, CURA, S3D, Prusa, OrcaSlicer. The power system is built on Mean Well units with a maximum power consumption of up to 3 kW. The average daily energy consumption is 0.2 kW/h when printing PLA and up to 3 kW/h when working with PEEK.
