The humanoid robot Unitree G1-D Ultimate C-U8 is an anthropomorphic platform designed for research in the field of artificial intelligence and precise mechanical tasks, with 33 degrees of freedom and Dex3-1 manipulators. The modification is designed for laboratories where detailed interaction with objects is required. Instead of the basic grip, the model is equipped with three-fingered hands with force control, tactile feedback, a built-in RGB camera, and 33 touch sensors. The perception range from 10 to 2500 grams allows for safe holding of objects.

Features of Unitree G1-D Ultimate C-U8

  • Wheelbase with intelligent navigation. Unlike the standard model, the Flagship version is equipped with a mobile platform with differential drive, providing a movement speed of up to 1.5 m/s and a 360° on-the-spot turn. Safety and spatial orientation are guaranteed by a complex of sensors: LiDAR, two depth cameras, collision sensors, and low obstacle detection.
  • Extended autonomy. The use of a chassis with a built-in 30 Ah battery allows the robot to function for up to 6 hours without recharging, which is three times the standard model's performance.
  • Precision manipulation with Dex3-1. The C-U8 configuration includes a three-fingered dexterous grip with tactile feedback. The system includes 33 touch sensors that allow the robot to recognize forces ranging from 10 to 2500 g, ensuring high delicacy in interacting with objects.
  • Integrated visual positioning. Each Dex3-1 manipulator has a built-in HD camera. This allows the robot to perform precise visual guidance directly at the point of contact, complementing the main binocular head viewing system.
  • Adaptability to the workspace. A lifting column with a stroke of 500 mm allows changing the device's height from 1260 to 1680 mm, expanding the possibilities of working with objects at different levels — from the floor to high shelves.
  • Software ecosystem for AI training. The robot supports integration with leading models such as PI and GROOT and can operate based on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin 100 TOPS module, providing fast data processing for complex motion and interaction algorithms.

Functional Features of the Software Complex and Data Management

  • Unified data collection pipeline. The platform provides a full work cycle: task creation, assignment, collection, annotation, verification, and information export. Template-based visual management allows generating tasks with one click and tracking the workflow in real-time.
  • High-Concurrency architecture. The software complex can support synchronous information collection from hundreds of robots simultaneously. Load balancing algorithms ensure continuous reception and processing of massive data streams in 24/7 mode.
  • Integration with AI models and UnifoLM-WMA-0. The ecosystem supports working with open frameworks (PI, GROOT) and uses its own World-Model-Action architecture. The decision-making module analyzes the current state of the environment for accurate prediction of physical interactions, reducing errors during movements.
  • Simulation environment and distributed learning. The integrated library of high-precision 3D assets allows testing algorithms in a virtual space. The distributed learning architecture supports parallel acceleration and elastic task distribution, achieving GPU utilization levels up to 90%.
  • Rapid algorithm deployment. The system interface allows launching model training with one click (One-Click Deploy). Seamless migration of algorithms verified in the simulator directly to the robot's hardware is ensured.
  • Data standardization. The system automatically consolidates data obtained from different robotic bases and end effectors into a single standard, converting them into formats necessary for neural network training.
