Plastic PA Nylon KLEMA 1.75 mm, 2.85 mm, and 3.00 mm

Plastic PA Nylon KLEMA is capable of withstanding a wide range of temperatures and is resistant to most organic solvents.

In terms of properties, polyamide slightly resembles ABS plastic. However, polyamide has high wear resistance, elasticity, and can withstand high temperatures. It is used for manufacturing bearings and other similar components due to its high coefficient of friction. Among the advantages, the following should be highlighted:

• Resistance to organic-based solvents
• Possibility of post-processing

However, there are also disadvantages:

• Emission of toxic fumes during printing
• High hygroscopicity.

It is recommended to print with this plastic in a well-ventilated area, and nylon should preferably be dried before use. Notably, the likelihood of delamination of nylon products is extremely low, but the material is difficult to glue. This last factor can be an obstacle when it is necessary to manufacture modular objects.

Printing Conditions for PA Nylon Plastic

• Printing temperature: 250 – 280 °C
• Platform temperature: > 110 °C
• Printing speed: 30 – 80 mm/s
