HEPA Filter Formlabs Fuse Blast — a replaceable filtering element of the air purification system of the post-processing station. During operation, it captures powder and abrasive material that enter the airflow during the cleaning of SLS parts.

Purpose of the Filter

The filter is installed in the Fuse Blast air exchange system and collects powder particles and blasting media. Its proper condition is necessary for the normal operation of the equipment's filtration system.

When Replacement is Needed

Formlabs recommends checking the HEPA filter every 30 hours of Fuse Blast operation and cleaning it with a vacuum cleaner if necessary or according to the notification on the touchscreen. If the filter remains noticeably dirty after cleaning, it needs to be replaced.
