Wheeled Robot Dog for Industrial Tasks with a Load Capacity of 25 kg
AgiBot D1 Max — an industrial wheeled robot dog designed for logistics, cargo transportation, and specialized tasks on complex routes. It has a load capacity of up to 25 kg and can reach speeds of up to 8 m/s. Without a load, the robot operates for at least 5 hours and covers a distance of 29 km, while with a full load, it operates for at least 3.5 hours and covers 18 km respectively. The AgiBot D1 Max can handle inclines of up to 45° and obstacles up to 80 cm high, with an IP67-rated body designed for use in challenging conditions.
Main Advantages of AgiBot D1 Max
- Cargo transportation and additional equipment connection. The nominal payload is up to 25 kg. Communication and power interfaces are provided for external devices.
- Long battery operation. Without a load, the operating time is at least 5 hours, and with a full load, at least 3.5 hours. The range in these modes is at least 29 and 18 km respectively.
- Combination of wheel speed and leg maneuverability. The wheeled-leg design allows for quick movement on flat surfaces and switching to leg mode on more complex route sections. Switching between the two types of movement is provided.
- Fast movement between work zones. The maximum speed is up to 8 m/s, allowing for rapid covering of significant distances given an appropriate route and safe operating conditions.
- High maneuverability on complex routes. The wheeled-leg design allows for overcoming inclines up to 45°, obstacles up to 80 cm high, and consecutive steps up to 25 cm. This expands movement capabilities on areas with height differences and uneven terrain.
- Reliable protection for operation in challenging conditions. The body is IP67-rated and designed for use in dusty, rainy, and high-humidity conditions. The operating temperature range is from −20 to 55 °C.
- More continuous operation thanks to hot-swappable batteries. The power system consists of two 54 V, 10 A/h batteries each. Hot-swapping capability helps reduce pauses between work cycles.
- Sensors for route operation. 96-channel LiDAR and 8 MP FPV cameras are installed at the front and rear. The sensor system also includes GNSS RTK, IMU, and two ultrasonic sensors.
Adaptive Movement System
The AgiBot D1 Max combines wheels with active leg joints. On flat sections, the wheels provide efficient movement over long distances, while active legs allow for changing body position and adapting to uneven surfaces. The robot can move forward, backward, and sideways, as well as turn in place without an additional turning radius. The minimum passage width is 50 cm, and the robot's height in low movement mode is 34 cm.
Overcoming Slopes, Stairs, and Obstacles
The design of the AgiBot D1 Max is intended for routes with significant height differences. The robot can handle inclines up to 45°, individual obstacles up to 80 cm high, and consecutive steps up to 25 cm. When moving with a load, the maximum claimed obstacle height is up to 50 cm. Active control of leg and body position helps navigate uneven technical and industrial areas where conventional wheeled platforms have limited maneuverability.
Connecting Equipment for Industrial Tasks
The AgiBot D1 Max can be equipped with cameras, sensors, communication devices, computing modules, and other equipment within the allowable weight. Outputs of 5, 12, 24, and 48 V are provided for external devices. For data exchange, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, RS232, RS485, SBUS, and PPS are available. Before integrating equipment, its power, mounting method, and compatibility with available interfaces should be considered.
Cameras and Positioning System
Visual observation is provided by two industrial 8 MP FPV cameras installed at the front and rear. The viewing angles are DFOV 122°, HFOV 111°, and VFOV 70°. Four additional light sources are located near the cameras. GNSS RTK, automotive IMU, and two ultrasonic sensors are used for position determination and movement control. Ultrasonic sensors monitor obstacles on the left and right at a distance of up to 5 m.
SDK and Secondary Development
The AgiBot D1 Max supports secondary development and integration with the SDK. For designing and testing custom software solutions, developers are provided with a digital model of the robot, 3D CAD files, and a URDF description. Wireless connection is made through Wi-Fi 5.0 and Bluetooth 5.0 modules. This allows developers to implement their own control algorithms, process sensor data, and configure interaction with external equipment.
IP67 Protection for Industrial Use
The D1 Max body is protected according to the IP67 standard, designed for use in dusty environments, in the rain, and in high humidity conditions. The operating temperature range from −20 to +55 °C ensures stable functionality both in winter and during summer heat. This makes the platform adaptable for use in open areas, warehouses, production sites, and external inspection routes. At the same time, the IP67 class requires compliance with regulatory restrictions on water contact as specified in the technical documentation.
Applications of AgiBot D1 Max
- Logistics and transportation. The nominal load of 25 kg and wheeled design allow for transporting cargo on routes with both flat and uneven sections.
- Industrial enterprises. The D1 Max can be used in production, warehouse, and technical areas where mobile equipment with IP67 protection and the ability to connect external devices is needed.
- Search and rescue scenarios. This direction is directly indicated by AGIBOT for the D1 Max. Specific search functions depend on the installed equipment and software settings.
- Performing specialized tasks. The SDK, sensors, and external interfaces allow for adapting the robot to a specific project after checking the compatibility of the required equipment.
Configuration of AgiBot D1 Max
The specification separately lists the components included in the standard equipment. An autonomous charging station is available as an option. The exact composition of the AgiBot D1 Max delivery should be clarified before ordering.Technical Specifications of AgiBot D1 Max

Tips for Selection and Implementation
- Determine the load weight. The total weight of the load and additional equipment should be compared with the nominal figure of 25 kg.
- Analyze the route. Check inclines, stairs, obstacle heights, passage widths, and areas where leg mode is needed.
- Calculate operating time. Full load reduces operating time from at least 5 to at least 3.5 hours.
- Check the required distance. For long routes, focus on a range of 29 km without load and 18 km with full load.
- Check additional equipment connections. Pre-match the required ports and power voltage with the available D1 Max interfaces.
