FreeScan Trak Pro2 from Shining 3D is a portable optical coordinate measurement system designed for precise 3D scanning and quality control. Equipped with marker-free dynamic referencing, this system offers scanning speeds of up to 3,070,000 points per second and accuracy of up to 0.023 mm. It features various scanning modes, including detailed scanning and deep hole scanning, and supports real-time data monitoring. Certified to ISO 17025, the system can be enhanced with FreeProbe to improve inspection processes.

Marker-Free Dynamic Referencing

The FreeTrak bar automatically tracks the TE25 scanner using built-in target markers, eliminating the need to manually place markers on the object being scanned. This marker-free approach simplifies the 3D scanning process, saving time and increasing efficiency.

The FreeScan Trak Pro2 is an advanced metrological tool for precise quality control and 3D inspection. It offers high accuracy and repeatability, allowing for fast and precise scanning of various parts and surfaces without the need for markers. In combination with the additional FreeProbe, the system provides seamless integration of contact probing, enhancing the overall inspection process. The FreeScan Trak Pro2 supports multiple scanning modes for different applications, including both optical tracking and marker-based scanning, and ensures metrological accuracy up to 0.023 mm.

 

The wide and expandable tracking range of the FreeScan Trak Pro2 allows for measuring large volumes and surfaces without losing accuracy or requiring traditional jumps. The system features advanced scanning modes, including 50 crossing laser lines for fast and accurate scanning, 7 parallel laser lines for high-detail resolution, and one laser line for deep hole scanning. Accuracy is evaluated according to VDI/VDE 2634 standards in a laboratory certified to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

 

Data Quality Visualization

Users can verify if the scanning distance is optimal by observing the color of the laser lines projected onto the object. Additionally, the built-in data quality indicator helps identify areas where scanned data may be insufficient, ensuring a more accurate and reliable scanning process.
