xTool MetalFab 800W All-in-one is a desktop complex for welding, CNC and manual cutting, and metal cleaning. Equipped with an 800W air-cooled fiber laser and an automated CNC platform. Suitable for processing steel, aluminum, brass, and galvanized metal in workshops and small-scale production.

800W Fiber Laser

The core of the system is an 800W optical power fiber laser generator with a wavelength of 1064 nm and built-in air cooling, consuming 3.5 kW from the network. The automated CNC platform provides precise sheet metal cutting with an accuracy of ±0.05 mm and gas connection under pressure of 0.8–1.2 MPa for melt removal. The maximum cutting thickness is up to 3 mm for carbon steel, up to 2 mm for stainless steel, up to 1.5 mm for aluminum, and up to 1 mm for brass.

If necessary, the operator can remove the laser gun from the portal for manual contour cutting of complex-shaped blanks. Additionally, a laser cleaning mode with an adjustable beam width from 10 to 80 mm is provided, allowing easy removal of scale, rust, grease, paint, and discoloration after welding.

Control and Ready Processing Parameters

The xTool MetalFab control system simplifies setting work modes for different metals, material thicknesses, and welding wire diameters. The touch interface allows quick selection of parameters for welding, cutting, and cleaning without lengthy manual setup for each task.

Safety and Applications

xTool MetalFab 800W belongs to Class 4 laser equipment. Radiation of this power is hazardous to eyes and skin. The protection system includes an E-Stop emergency stop button and a workpiece contact sensor that activates the laser only when the electrical circuit is closed through the ground clamp. Protective glasses OD 6+ for 1064 nm and forced exhaust ventilation are mandatory during operation.

Work Tips

• Protective Gas Control. Always open the gas cylinder and check the pressure before turning on the laser to avoid damage to the focusing lens.
• Optics Cleanliness Check. Check the condition of the protective glass in the gun before each shift. Stains and dust on the lens lead to overheating and destruction.
• Wire Feed Adjustment. When welding parts with a gap, ensure the wire is fed into the center of the weld pool at the recommended angle.
• Compressed Air Cleaning. If a compressor is used for cutting, install an air dryer and oil filter to prevent optics contamination.
• Grounding Reliability. Do not start work without connecting the ground clamp directly to the part to trigger safety systems.
• Test Pass. Before cutting a series of parts, perform a test cut on a small workpiece to refine focus and speed.
