IR Laser Module Xtool IR module 5W is a detachable infrared module specifically designed for the laser machine xTool P3. Thanks to its optical power of 5 W and a laser spot size of 0.03 mm, the module ensures clarity and detail even for the smallest elements. The device works directly with the material surface — no additional marking sprays or pastes are needed.
Features of the Infrared Laser Module
- Infrared Laser 1064 nm: the wavelength is designed for marking metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, gold, silver, titanium, as well as popular plastics (ABS, PC, acrylic). The beam is absorbed directly by the material, creating a durable and contrasting pattern.
- Power 5 W and Focus 0.03 mm: increased optical power of the emitter combined with an ultra-thin laser spot allows for clear engraving of small text, serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes, and complex graphics with high detail.
- Quick Replacement and Easy Installation: the module is designed for quick mounting on the xTool P3 machine carriage. Fixation and connection take minimal time and do not require complex additional tools.
- Control in a Single Software: all settings for power, speed, engraving resolution, and layout positioning are conveniently performed in the proprietary xTool Creative Space software.
Material Compatibility
- Materials for Direct Marking: all types of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, brass, copper, gold, silver, platinum, as well as opaque plastics ABS, PC, acrylic, PVC, etc., and leather.
- Processing Properties: the 1064 nm infrared beam is absorbed by metal and plastic directly, so the use of marking sprays or pastes is not needed. The engraving is durable, legible, and contrasting.
- Limitations: the module is not suitable for direct cutting or engraving of wood, clear acrylic, fabrics, and clear glass — for these materials, the standard CO₂ tube of the xTool P3 machine is used.
