xTool M2 Module: 20W Diode Laser

xTool M2 20W Diode Laser Module Kit is designed for installation on xTool M2 laser machines. The device operates in the blue spectrum with a wavelength of 455 nm and provides an output power of 20 W. The module is used for cutting and engraving wood, leather, and acrylic, as well as for marking anodized aluminum and coated metals. The available processing area is 300 × 294 mm.

Technical Parameters of the Module

• Blue diode radiation 455 nm: the wavelength is selected for effective processing of organic and synthetic blanks.
• Laser power 20 W: allows cutting plywood, linden, and black acrylic up to 10 mm thick in one working pass.
• Laser spot size 0.06 × 0.08 mm: the focused beam provides detail of small elements and line precision during engraving.
• Magnetic Mount MagSwap™: the module is mounted on the xTool M2 machine carriage using magnetic fasteners and a quick-release connector, allowing tool changes manually without additional devices.
• Integration with xTool Creative Space: proprietary software is used to set speed, power, laser operating modes, and position graphic layouts.

Material Compatibility and Processing Features

• Materials for work: wood, plywood, black and some colored opaque acrylics, natural and artificial leather, paper, cardboard. Also suitable for marking anodized aluminum and metals with painted or polymer coatings.
• Cutting specifics: the laser can cut blanks from plywood, linden, and black acrylic up to 10 mm thick in one pass. The maximum cutting thickness depends on the density, color, and physical properties of the specific material.
• Optical limitations: radiation with a wavelength of 455 nm is effectively absorbed by organics and dark surfaces. The module is not suitable for cutting transparent acrylic, nor for processing pure metals without an anodized or protective layer.
