Removable Battery for XGRIDS Lixel K2 — is a power source designed for operating the handheld 3D scanner during spatial data collection. The battery is installed at the bottom of the device, has mechanical fixation and charge level indication, and full charging takes approximately 2 hours.

Installation and Charging

The battery is installed directly into the bottom of the XGRIDS Lixel K2. For installation, press the latch, insert the battery into the desired position, and after releasing the latch, ensure it is securely fixed. XGRIDS recommends checking the fixation before starting work with the scanner.

For charging, the battery is connected to the charging adapter using the appropriate cable. A full charging cycle takes approximately 2 hours.

The light indication allows you to monitor the current charge level in four ranges:

• 0–24%;
• 25–49%;
• 50–74%;
• 75–99%.

Charge Control During 3D Scanning

Before starting data collection, the manufacturer recommends checking the battery charge. For working with the scanner, XGRIDS advises having at least three indicator divisions, corresponding to a charge level of 51% or more.

When the remaining charge reaches 10%, the system warns the operator. In such a situation, it is necessary to save the data and complete the scanning to avoid the device shutting down before the recording is properly completed.

Battery Storage and Resource

After completing daily work, XGRIDS recommends fully charging the battery. If the battery is not used for a long time, it should be charged at least once every 3 months. A battery with a very low or completely depleted charge should be charged within 3 days.

After approximately 300–500 charge-discharge cycles, the battery capacity decreases to 70–80% of the initial value. To preserve battery characteristics, the manufacturer recommends storing it in a dry, cool place.
