Two-Armed Robotic Platform Unitree G1-D Standard A-U1 for Data Collection

Unitree G1-D Standard A-U1 is a humanoid robotic platform with a fixed base designed for data collection, model training, and testing interaction algorithms with physical objects. It features two seven-axis arms, a lifting column, and two Dex1-1 Advanced Edition grippers. The configuration has 19 degrees of freedom including the grippers, a machine vision system with three cameras, and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin 16 GB computational module with a performance of 100 TOPS.

Features of Unitree G1-D Standard A-U1

  • Fixed base for stationary operation. The A-U1 configuration is designed to work in a permanently defined working area. The platform dimensions are approximately 500 × 500 mm, making it easy to place on research and educational stands.
  • 19 degrees of freedom including grippers. Each arm has 7 degrees of freedom, the body has 2, the lifting column has 1, and each gripper has 1.
  • Two Dex1-1 Advanced Edition grippers. Each gripper has a stroke of 90 mm, adjustable gripping force from 5 to 120 N, and a positional resolution at the tip of 0.1 mm. This allows for adjusting the grip according to the size, shape, and mechanical properties of the object.
  • Machine vision with three cameras. A binocular camera with a resolution of 3840 × 1200 is installed on the head, and two cameras with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 are on the wrists. The combination of general and local views helps collect visual data during manipulations.
  • Computational system for secondary development. The basic eight-core processor is complemented by an NVIDIA Jetson Orin 16 GB module with a performance of 100 TOPS. The configuration supports secondary development, wireless connectivity, and intelligent OTA updates.
