Formlabs Fuse 1 Generation Quartz Tube Heater 230V — a replacement quartz heater lamp for the heating system of the working chamber in SLS printers Fuse 1+ 30W and Fuse 1. Fuse 1 Generation printers use two such lamps located at the top of the chamber, which evenly maintain the necessary temperature during printing.

Function of the Quartz Lamp

The quartz heater is part of the printer's temperature system and provides heating of the working chamber during the selective laser sintering process. Stable operation of both lamps is necessary to achieve and maintain the temperature required for correct printing with powder materials.

When Replacement is Needed

The lamp is replaced in case of damage or malfunction. If one or both quartz heaters are not functioning correctly, the printer may not reach the necessary temperature for normal printing. Formlabs does not specify a fixed interval for scheduled replacement.
