The Markforged Wash-1 immerses a green part printed on Metal X or FX10 in a special liquid that removes the primary bonding material. The printed part remains semi-porous, so residual bonding material can easily burn off during sintering. This washing step cleans the final metal part and helps keep the sintering furnace clean.

Use Markforged Metal X and Markforged FX10 for post-processing.

Can be used in combination with Markforged Sinter-1 and Markforged Sinter-2.

Plastics

Composite Base filaments are engineering-grade materials that print using a conventional FFF (FDM-style) process. Print with them alone or with Continuous Fibers to yield strong parts. The ULTEM™ and 9085 trademarks are used under license from SABIC, its affiliates or subsidiaries.

Continuous Fiber

Continuous Fibers enable Markforged composite printers to print metal-strength parts. They cannot be used alone — however, when printed with a Composite Base, they form the backbone of a strong printed part.
