Automated Powder Blending With Consistent Refresh Rate
Every SLS material has a recommended refresh rate — the proportion of fresh powder that must be added to reclaimed material to maintain stable sintering behaviour and predictable mechanical properties. Doing this by eye or by feel is a common source of batch-to-batch inconsistency. The Fuse X1 Mix Kit removes that variable entirely.
The Fuse X1 Mixer draws reclaimed powder directly from the Fuse Sift X1 and blends it with fresh supply at precisely the correct ratio for the loaded material profile. The included scale validates each batch gravimetrically — so every load that enters the printer has been weighed, verified, and confirmed before the job starts.
Vacuum Transfer — No Manual Handling
Once the blend is confirmed, the Fuse X1 Vacuum Conveyor (included in the kit) transfers the mixed powder pneumatically into the printer's feed system, ready for the next build. Powder never needs to be scooped, poured, or carted manually — a meaningful ergonomic and contamination-control improvement in any production setting.
For facilities running multiple Fuse X1 printers simultaneously, the architecture is built to scale. Additional Vacuum Conveyors can be integrated to create a networked powder logistics system — routing blended material to multiple machines or into dedicated storage vessels as operational demands require.
