Formlabs Fuse Sift Vibration Motor 230V— a replacement vibration motor for the post-processing and powder recovery station Fuse Sift. The motor drives the sieve, helping to separate printed SLS parts from unsintered powder and return suitable material to the reuse cycle. The part is designed for a 230 V power system.

Function of the Vibration Motor

During the operation of Fuse Sift, the vibration motor creates oscillations of the sieve mesh. This allows the unsintered powder to pass through the sieve, while parts and larger particles remain separate. This process is part of preparing used powder for further recovery and reuse.

When Replacement is Needed

The vibration motor is replaced in case of malfunction or incorrect operation. A faulty drive complicates powder sieving, post-processing of printed parts, and recovery of unsintered material. Formlabs has a separate service manual for replacing this unit.
