Formlabs Fuse Sift Cartridge Drawer Kit — a service kit for maintaining the mechanism of installation and control of the powder cartridge. The components of the kit help the system detect the presence of the cartridge and the closed position of the tray before starting powder dosing.

Purpose of the Kit

The tray holds the powder cartridge during its filling. Sensors and the board control the position of the cartridge and the state of the tray so that the Fuse Sift can correctly perform powder feeding. Malfunction of these components can disrupt the cartridge filling process.

When Replacement is Needed

The kit is used in case of malfunction of the board, sensors, or tray fixation mechanism. If the system incorrectly detects the installation of the cartridge or the closing of the tray, the Fuse Sift may not start or may incorrectly perform powder dosing. The need for replacement is determined after equipment diagnostics.
