Formlabs Fuse 1 Generation Quartz Tube Frame — a service component of the heating system of the SLS printer, designed for installing and powering quartz heaters in the upper part of the work chamber. The part is compatible with Fuse 1+ 30W and Fuse 1 printers.

Purpose of the Frame

Fuse 1 Generation printers use two quartz heaters that heat the powder during printing. The frame holds these heaters in the correct position and ensures their electrical connection. A malfunction of this unit can disrupt the normal operation of the printer's heating system.

When Replacement is Needed

The frame is replaced in case of damage or malfunction of the unit, particularly if there are problems with the mounting or powering of the quartz heaters. Formlabs provides a separate service procedure for replacing this part.
