Creality Space Pi: efficient drying chamber for 3D printing
Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer is designed to dehydrate 3D printing materials and restore their original physical properties right before or during work. The built-in 80W PTC heating system combined with 360° convection airflow ensures quick and even heating of the internal volume. The device is optimized to work with a single 1kg spool of filament. With a temperature range up to 70°C, the dryer equally prepares common polymers like PLA, PETG, ABS, as well as demanding engineering plastics like PA, PC.
Technical equipment and functionality of Creality Space Pi
- 360° convection heating: the 80W PTC heating element and integrated cooler evenly distribute hot air throughout the chamber, removing water molecules from the filament without risking deformation of the plastic spool.
- Touch control and 4" display: the color touchscreen displays the current temperature and humidity level in real-time, and also provides quick process settings.
- Automatic presets for 12 materials: developers have included a ready set of profiles for 12 types of plastic (including PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, PA, PC), allowing you to start drying with one click.
- Programmable timer up to 48 hours: the duration of the work cycle can be set from 0 to 48 hours, ensuring complete drying even for the most hygroscopic compounds.
- Power failure protection: the memory function records the current drying state and automatically resumes the process from the interrupted moment after power is restored.
- Protected filament feed: the sealed body construction with special silicone seals prevents re-moistening of the filament during its feed into the print head.
Compatible materials and versatility
The device supports both pre-drying of the material and its continuous feed into the extruder during printing.
- Compatible types of plastic: PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, ASA, PVA, Nylon (PA), PC, PET, and composite mixtures based on carbon fiber or fiberglass.
- Filament standards: 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm.
- Spool sizes: compatibility with standard 1-kilogram spools (outer diameter up to 200 mm, width up to 75 mm).
- Equipment compatibility: suitable for use with any FDM 3D printers.
