The Elegoo Giga 3D printer with a large print area is a significant step for the brand towards the industrial segment. Technical Design Features

The system is powered by a 64-bit RK3328 processor, whose computational power is sufficient for the correct operation of resonance compensation algorithms. The hotend with a 60W ceramic heater and a maximum temperature of 300 °C expands the range of compatible materials: from standard PLA and PETG to durable Nylon and flexible TPU.

The large Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga 3D printer is designed with a focus on rigidity and stability. The frame is based on reinforced aluminum profiles that have undergone precision machining on CNC machines. For equipment of this scale, this is a critical factor: when moving a massive print head and under inertial loads at high speeds, any deformation would lead to geometric distortions. The issue of parasitic vibrations is solved by using high-precision linear guides along the X and Y axes, ensuring exceptional smoothness even at peak accelerations up to 5,000 mm/s².

Intelligent Thermal Management

The key challenge when operating large-format printers is energy efficiency. The OrangeStorm Giga features a zonal heating system: the worktable is divided into four independent modules (410 by 410 mm each). The electronics automatically determine the model boundaries and supply power only to the engaged segments. If the entire area needs to be used, the total power of the system allows reaching a working temperature of 100 °C in just 17 minutes. A magnetic substrate with a PEI coating ensures stable adhesion and easy removal of finished objects by simply flexing the platform.

Multi-Extrusion: Scaling Productivity

The design allows for the installation of up to four independent print heads simultaneously. For businesses, this means multiple scalability: the duplication mode allows printing four identical items in one cycle.
