PLA Plastic Creatbot 1 kg 1.75 mm Black is a filament for FDM 3D printing of models, educational models, decorative products, and prototypes. The material has low shrinkage, low tendency to deform during printing, and forms a smooth surface on models. The tensile strength in the XY direction is 36 MPa, and the flexural strength is 77 MPa.

Material Advantages

• Even surface of printed parts. PLA allows for neat models with a smooth surface, which is important for models, demonstration samples, and decorative products.
• Low odor level during printing. The material is convenient for use in educational, creative, and prototyping tasks.
• Material based on renewable raw materials. PLA is made from bio-based materials and can decompose under industrial composting conditions.

Features of 3D Printing with PLA Creatbot

PLA Creatbot is recommended to be printed at a nozzle temperature of 190–230 °C and a platform temperature of 40–60 °C. The recommended printing speed is less than 300 mm/s. Active cooling is used during printing.

Before printing, it is recommended to dry the filament for 6–8 hours at a temperature of 40–50 °C. The moisture absorption rate is 0.41% at a temperature of 25 °C and relative humidity of 55%.

To improve the adhesion of the first layer, you can use a 3D printing spray, PVP glue stick, or a special adhesive for the printing platform.

Storage

The filament should be stored in a dry, cool place at a temperature of 15–25 °C and relative humidity below 40%. Protecting the material from moisture helps maintain the stability of its properties during further printing.
