Formlabs Fuse Blast Hopper Mesh — a replaceable filter element for the Fuse Blast post-processing station, designed for use with glass abrasive material. The mesh is installed in the hopper and helps separate usable blasting media from larger particles and residues after cleaning SLS parts.

Purpose of the Mesh Filter

During the operation of Fuse Blast, the used abrasive material is returned to the system. The Hopper Mesh acts as a filter through which the glass media passes before recirculation. This helps maintain the normal operation of the cleaning system and the reuse of abrasive material.

When Replacement is Needed

The mesh is replaced in case of damage, deformation, or if it no longer properly filters the material. The need for replacement is determined by the actual condition of the component during the maintenance of Fuse Blast.
