The infrared sensor kit is designed to measure the temperature inside the working chamber of Fuse 1 series 3D printers. The component ensures the operability of the heating system, which is crucial for maintaining the SLS printing process.

Part Function

Temperature Monitoring: Measures the surface temperature of the powder layer in a non-contact manner directly during printing.

Heating Regulation: Transmits data to the printer's control system to equalize the temperature background, preventing material deformation, overheating, or under-sintering.

Geometry Maintenance: Helps maintain the specified dimensions and structural density of the formed layers throughout the entire volume of the chamber.

When to Replace

• When temperature control errors or IR sensor calibration failures are displayed on the printer screen.
• In case of damage or contamination of the optical lens and module that cannot be resolved by cleaning.
• In the presence of printing defects (delamination, deformation) related to incorrect temperature readings.
• During service maintenance when the standard sensor fails.
