Formlabs Form Wash is designed to match Formlabs Form 2 3D printer. You insert your part or parts into the Form Wash and leave it to complete your task. The automatic flushing system has an impeller that agitates 90% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) around the parts to completely clean them.
Form Wash automates the rinsing process for printed products, ensuring consistent and thorough cleaning of 3D photopolymer printed parts. Parts are sent straight from the Formlabs Form 2 printer to the Form Wash for flushing, leaving all parts directly on the construction platform. Hassle-free and remove unnecessary elements from finishing parts, just set the right time and let Form Wash run.
While you’re away, the pieces are rinsed thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol, and every nook and cranny is completely clean. Upon completion of the wash, Form Wash automatically lifts the parts out from IPA to a dry surface, eliminating excessive rubbing and cracking of prints. This saves you time and effort. The reservoir contains 8.6 liters of IPA, which is enough to clean the largest parts and up to 70 prints. A hydrometer is included in the box, which is used to regularly test the IPA so you know when it needs a change. Each washingdevice kit includes a dedicated hydrometer tool to check the saturation of the IPA, an IPA siphon pump, and a spare room for finishing tools.
