Elastan D70 CCF flexible plastic MonoFilament 0.75 kg 1.75 mm Black

Elastan D70 CCF is a composite flexible plastic reinforced with carbon fiber. The abbreviation CCF stands for Composite Carbon Fiber. This material is designed for 3D printing ultra-strong and wear-resistant parts that require a combination of elasticity and rigidity. The Elastan material line from MonoFilament is represented by three main types: hard D70 (similar to hard rubber), medium hardness D100, and soft D160 (similar to silicone). The CCF modification is a technological alternative to Nylon: it combines high interlayer adhesion and low shrinkage with extreme impact strength. Thanks to the carbon filler, the products become significantly more stable under load while maintaining the ability for elastic deformation.

Material Advantages

  • Carbon Fiber Reinforcement (CCF). The addition of Carbon Fiber increases the elastic modulus and makes parts more resistant to mechanical stress.
  • Matte Texture. Printed items have a premium matte appearance where layer lines are practically invisible.
  • Enhanced Thermal Resistance. The material operates stably in an extended temperature range from -40°C to +130°C.
  • Resistance to Aggressive Environments. Parts can be used in contact with gasoline, oils, lubricants, and alcohols.
  • Structural Reliability. The material withstands repeated loads without whitening at bends and demonstrates very low dimensional shrinkage.

Applications

Due to the combination of elastomer and carbon fiber properties, Elastan D70 CCF is ideal for professional use:

  • Transmission Units: gears, pinions, and pulleys requiring high precision.
  • Housing Parts: impact-resistant enclosures for electronics and protective shells for equipment.
  • Mechanically Loaded Parts: brackets, levers, and guides operating in difficult technical conditions.
  • Industrial Elements: products with high resistance to impact loads and hydro-abrasive wear.

Tips from 3DDevice Experts

  • Use Steel Nozzles. Composite Carbon Fiber has abrasive properties. To prevent rapid wear of standard brass nozzles, we recommend using hardened steel nozzles.
  • Mandatory Drying. Carbon fiber additionally absorbs moisture. Before printing, the material must be dried at 60°C for 4–6 hours in air circulation mode.
  • Storage. Always keep the spool in a vacuum bag with a desiccant, as carbon-fiber-based composites are very sensitive to air humidity.
