Elastan D100 Flexible Plastic MonoFilament 1 kg 1.75 mm Black
Elastan D100 is a highly elastic structural plastic of medium hardness, developed for 3D printing parts that are subjected to constant dynamic loads. The Elastan material line from MonoFilament is represented by three types: hard D70 (similar to hard rubber), medium hardness D100, and soft D160 (similar to silicone). The D100 model is the most popular choice in the series because it perfectly balances strength and flexibility. This filament allows for the creation of products that need to operate in aggressive environments and retain their shape after multiple deformations. It is often chosen for technical tasks that require high wear resistance and anti-vibration properties.
Material Advantages
- High strength and elasticity. The material easily withstands variable loads without losing structural integrity.
- Resistance to aggressive environments. Products made from Elastan D100 perform consistently when in contact with oils, fats, gasoline, and many solvents.
- Wear resistance and friction resistance. The plastic has high resistance to hydroabrasive wear, making it suitable for moving mechanisms.
- Stability during deformation. Even after numerous bends, the product does not show white marks (whitening effect) and does not delaminate.
- Temperature endurance. Printed parts retain their operational characteristics in the range from -40°C to +100°C.
Application Options
Elastan D100 plastic is considered a universal elastomer in the line. It is most often used in the following areas:
- Anti-vibration products: dampers, mounting cushions, protective spacers.
- Machine elements: rollers, shafts, low-power pulleys, and flexible couplings.
- Light industry: printing wear-resistant soles for shoes or individual shoe elements.
- Insulation and packaging: protective coatings, original elastic containers, insulators.
Technical Specifications
For stable results, we recommend using printers with a closed case. This ensures slow cooling and helps avoid material shrinkage deformation.

3DDevice Expert Tips
- Control humidity. Like all polyurethane elastomers, Elastan D100 actively absorbs moisture from the environment. We recommend storing the filament in vacuum containers with a desiccant. If there is excessive noise (crackling) or the surface becomes uneven during printing, the plastic must be dried.
- Ensure geometric stability. Using a closed printer promotes gradual cooling of the model. This is critically important for large or massive parts to prevent warping during printing.
