Full battery charging takes approximately 2 hours, simplifying the preparation of equipment for the next work cycle.

Working with the Battery

The battery is installed at the bottom of the XGRIDS Lixel K2. To mount, press the latch, insert the battery until it stops, and ensure that it is securely fixed after releasing the latch. Before starting work, it is necessary to check the correct fixation of the battery.

A charging adapter with the appropriate cable is used for charging. The full cycle takes approximately 2 hours. Light indication allows controlling the current charge level of the battery.

Charge Control and Operation

Before starting scanning, XGRIDS recommends checking the battery charge level. To start data collection, it is desirable to have at least 51% charge.

When the battery charge level reaches 10%, the system issues a warning. In this case, it is recommended to save the data and finish scanning to avoid automatic shutdown of the device before completing the information recording.

Storage and Battery Resource

After completing daily work, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. If the battery is not used for a long time, it should be charged at least once every 3 months. A battery with a very low or completely depleted charge should be charged within 3 days.

After approximately 300–500 charge-discharge cycles, the battery capacity may decrease to 70–80% of the initial capacity. At this level, XGRIDS considers the battery to have reached the end of its estimated resource. To preserve characteristics, the manufacturer recommends storing the battery in a cool and dry place.
