Large Format 3D Printer Mingda MD-600D with Dual Extruders

Mingda MD-600D is an industrial FDM 3D printer with dual extruders and a print area of 600 × 600 × 600 mm. The model is designed for manufacturing large-scale prototypes, functional parts, and products with complex geometry. A print speed of up to 300 mm/s and a nozzle temperature of up to 350 °C allow working with both standard and engineering filaments. Thanks to its large working volume, the printer allows printing large parts as a single piece, reducing the number of separate elements and subsequent assembly operations.

Model Features and Functionality

High-Speed Printing of Large-Scale Models

The 3D printer supports a print speed of up to 300 mm/s, and acceleration from 0 takes only 0.02 seconds. The maximum material flow is up to 40 mm³/s, and peak acceleration is up to 10000 mm/s². This allows reducing the manufacturing time of large products compared to standard large-format FDM printers. The device's kinematics are based on linear guides and closed-loop stepper motors. This design ensures high stability, immediate response without inertia, and eliminates the problem of step skipping even during extreme loads.

Dual Extruder Printing System

The presence of two independent nozzles allows combining different types of plastics simultaneously. The second extruder is indispensable for printing complex technological supports from easily detachable materials, as well as for creating two-color models.

Working with Engineering Composites

The maximum hotend temperature of up to 350 °C opens up the possibility of printing not only with basic plastics but also with high-strength engineering materials: carbon fiber, fiberglass, nylon composites, and heat-resistant PPS.

Automation and Remote Control

Synchronization via Wi-Fi or Ethernet allows remote control of processes, launching tasks into operation, and monitoring printing in real-time. Additionally, the system supports multiple devices, which is convenient for organizing a local 3D farm for serial production.

Smart Self-Diagnosis: Upon each startup, the MD-600D automatically tests key components: extruders, heated bed, auto-calibration modules, fans, and built-in video camera. If deviations from the norm are detected, a notification is immediately displayed on the screen.

Control System and Stability During Long Prints

The 3D printer is equipped with a filament end sensor and a print recovery function after power failures: if power is lost, the device will lower the platform, hide the filament, and after power is restored, it will resume work from the same point. The closed-type body is made of solid metal CNC-machined elements, ensuring the frame's monolithicity and eliminating parasitic vibrations during multi-hour or multi-day work sessions.

Supported Materials

Thanks to the active thermal chamber with heating up to 45 °C, heated bed up to 110 °C, and high-temperature nozzles, the Mingda MD-600D is compatible with a wide range of filaments:

  • standard: PLA, PETG;
  • glass fiber reinforced: PET-GF, HtPA-GF, HtPA-GF25, PPS-GF, ABS-GF;
  • carbon fiber reinforced: PET-CF, HtPA-CF, HtPA-CF25, PPS-CF, ABS-CF, PA12-CF;
  • high-temperature engineering: PPS and its modifications;
  • soluble and easily removable support materials: S-Multi, S-HtPA.

Note: The body includes a special hermetically sealed moisture-proof chamber with auxiliary feed, accommodating 2 spools of plastic weighing up to 3 kg each.
