Description
Raise3D Premium ABS filament for 3D printing
You can buy Raise3D Premium ABS filament for FDM/FFF desktop 3D printers on this page.
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a thermoplastic 3D printing filament that is one of the most widely used industrial thermoplastics. It is characterized by excellent mechanical properties: reliable, rigid, durable and shock-resistant. In addition, ABS products are distinguished by increased dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and good heat resistance up to 90 °C.
ABS printed parts are successfully used in production with or without post-finishing. Such properties of the material make it useful for design, prototyping, functional testing, assembly of parts and much more. 3D printed ABS parts are used in electronics housings, toys, and car body parts, just to name a few of the uses for ABS.
Main characteristics of Premium ABS Raise3D
- Excellent impact resistance
- Good stiffness, tensile strength and resistance to distortion
- Good chemical resistance
- Heat resistance up to 90 °C
Premium ABS Raise3D applications
- Functional prototyping
- Tools and equipment
- Prototyping and conceptual models
Recommended print settings
A heated substrate and a closed chamber are required to successfully print ABS; for office/factory and indoor ABS printing, an air filter is recommended.
- Nozzle temperature: 245 – 265 °C
- Bed temperature: 90 – 100 °C
- Layer height: 0.1 – 0.25 mm
- Print speed: 25 – 90 mm/s
- Cooling fan: Low or off
- Drying temperature: 80 °C
Features of printing with Premium ABS:
- For better layer adhesion, it is recommended to start with field or raft printing, set the layer temperature to 100 °C and turn off the cooling fan for the first few layers.
