Nylon-CGF (Glass Fiber) Plastic MonoFilament 1.75 mm 0.75 kg Black
Nylon-CGF (Glass Fiber) Plastic MonoFilament 1.75 mm is a composite nylon filament with the addition of 10% glass fiber for 3D printing of strong technical parts. The material has high rigidity, good mechanical strength, and high thermal resistance. Thanks to the glass fiber reinforcement, printed products better retain their shape under load compared to regular nylon.
Main Advantages of MonoFilament Nylon-CGF Plastic
- Temperature Resistance. Nylon-CGF (Glass Fiber) is suitable for parts that operate at elevated temperatures and constant loads.
- Wear Resistance of Finished Products. Printed 3D parts have good resistance to friction and mechanical wear, making the plastic often used for functional components.
What is Printed with Nylon-CGF Plastic
Thanks to the combination of nylon flexibility and glass fiber structural strength, Nylon-CGF is ideal for use in:
- Load-bearing Friction Units: gears, shafts, sliding bearings, and bushings with high abrasion resistance.
- Heat-resistant Components: parts and housings that operate under elevated temperatures.
- Power Fasteners: strong brackets, mounting blocks, and levers that withstand static and dynamic loads.
- Industrial Equipment: automation elements and guides resistant to mineral oils and abrasive wear.
Technical Specifications of Nylon-CGF
Nylon-CGF filament is characterized by high dimensional stability and low thermal shrinkage coefficient due to glass fiber filling. High interlayer adhesion and mechanical strength of 65 MPa allow it to be used for manufacturing parts with high precision.

Tips for Printing Nylon-CGF
- Use Hardened Steel Nozzles. Nylon-CGF is an abrasive material due to the glass fiber. Standard brass nozzles wear out quickly, so it is recommended to use hardened steel nozzles with a diameter of 0.4 mm or more. This ensures stable material feed.
- Store Plastic in a Dry Place. Nylon actively absorbs moisture from the air, so it is advisable to store the spool in a sealed container or bag with a desiccant. 3D printing with damp filament can degrade the surface of parts, interlayer adhesion, and material feed stability.
Why Choose Nylon-CGF
Nylon-CGF is suitable for printing technical parts that operate under mechanical loads and at elevated temperatures. The material allows for the production of strong products with stable geometry and good wear resistance.
