PETG CF Farm 3D Black Composite Plastic for Durable Parts
PETG CF Farm 3D is a composite plastic reinforced with carbon fiber, designed for 3D printing wear-resistant functional parts, power elements, and enclosures. The material with a diameter of 1.75 mm has a matte surface, prints at a nozzle temperature of 230–260 °C and a bed temperature of 70–80 °C. Suitable for loaded fasteners, automotive components, drone parts, and industrial equipment.
Advantages of PETG CF Farm 3D
- High rigidity and strength. The carbon fiber in the plastic significantly increases resistance to deformation and bending compared to standard PETG. The material withstands high mechanical loads, allowing for the creation of lightweight parts with thin walls without losing reliability.
- Minimal shrinkage. Carbon reinforcement reduces thermal deformation during cooling to almost zero. The shrinkage rate is less than 0.1%, preventing geometry deformation and corner lifting of large models from the bed.
- Wear resistance. The addition of carbon fibers reduces the friction coefficient of the finished product's surface. This increases the abrasive resistance of parts, allowing them to work for a long time in moving assemblies and mechanisms without premature wear.
- Matte texture. The carbon fiber addition effectively scatters light and visually hides the boundaries between 3D print layers. The surface is uniformly rough and attractive, completely eliminating the need for labor-intensive mechanical post-processing.
Properties of PETG CF
PETG CF combines the chemical resistance of the base polymer with the physical characteristics of carbon. The material is resistant to oils, solvents, salts, and weak acids. The filament's moisture absorption is lower than that of polyamide counterparts, so the filament retains stability during long-term storage.
Thanks to high interlayer adhesion, products withstand impact loads along and across the print lines. The material does not become brittle at moderately low temperatures and retains its shape when heated up to 80 °C.

3D Printing Tips for PETG CF
- Use a hardened steel or ruby-tipped nozzle, as carbon fiber quickly wears out brass nozzles.
- Dry the filament before printing at a temperature of 60–65 °C for 4–6 hours to remove residual moisture.
- Turn off or minimize model cooling to achieve maximum interlayer bonding strength.
- For better first layer adhesion, apply special 3D printing glue to glass or PEI plate.
