Dowell DM 10 Pro Enclosed 3D Printer
Dowell DM 10 Pro Enclosed is an industrial 3D printer with an enclosed frame and a build volume of 1000 × 1000 × 1000 mm, designed for manufacturing large parts, furniture molds, sculptures, and equipment elements. Thanks to the enclosed frame that maintains an internal temperature of up to 60 °C, the work area is protected from drafts, preventing deformation and shrinkage of the plastic during printing. The model belongs to the DM Pro series — high-performance equipment, as it supports high-flow material extrusion, print speeds from 250 to 500 mm/s, and extruder heating up to 420 °C thanks to a two-stage heating system. The significant build volume allows for the creation of integral products without further cutting the model into separate parts and without subsequent gluing.
Construction and Mechanics
The frame is made of a 60 mm thick aluminum profile with closed walls, retaining heat inside and providing structural rigidity. The movement of the axes is implemented using standard industrial nodes:
- The XY axes operate on guide modules, ensuring smooth movement at speeds up to 500 mm/s.
- The Z-axis is equipped with 16 mm diameter screw shafts and motors with a gearbox that hold massive printed parts.
- The table's self-locking mechanism prevents the platform from falling in case of power failure.

Extruder and Material Handling
The two-stage extruder heating system is designed to supply up to 1000 grams of plastic per hour.
- The enclosed chamber with a temperature of up to 60 °C, a nozzle heated up to 420 °C, and a filament diameter of 2.85 mm allow the use of PLA, PETG, TPU, as well as temperature-sensitive materials: ABS, ASA, polycarbonate PC, nylon PA, and composites with carbon fiber.
- Nozzles with diameters of 0.8 mm, 1.2 mm, and 1.6 mm can be installed for a choice between detail or print speed.

Work Platform
To ensure adhesion of the first layer and prevent part deformation, the work platform is equipped with a heating system.
- The platform consists of 6 mm thick tempered glass and a silicone heater, providing even heating across the entire surface. After cooling, the part separates from the surface.
- In the basic version, the table heats up to 100 °C, with an optional version available with heating up to 150 °C and PEI coating.

Control Functions and Automation
The printer is equipped with a basic set of sensors and systems for autonomous operation:
- Automatic bed leveling scans the surface and compensates for unevenness before starting the print.
- A camera and Wi-Fi module allow monitoring the process and controlling the printer over the network.
- A filament sensor pauses printing if the filament runs out or breaks.
- The resume function allows continuing printing from the stop point after a power failure.
- Control is carried out through a 10-inch color touch screen.

Printing Control Tools
- Changing speed, plastic feed, and cooling directly during printing.
- Displaying the temperature graph and execution status on the screen.
- G-code file viewer and the ability to adjust device configuration.
- Adjusting the Z-axis height during printing and saving work history.
- Emergency stop button on the body for quick shutdown.
Applications
The characteristics of the chamber and heating elements allow the printer to be used for the following tasks:
- housings, machine parts, and protective covers made of ABS, PC, and nylon;
- bumpers, spoilers, and models for the automotive industry;
- sign elements, advertising letters, and sculptures;
- molds for casting and industrial blanks.
