DOWELL 3D DL 10 with a print volume of 1000 × 1000 × 1000 mm is an industrial FDM printer with an enclosed frame, designed for manufacturing large-scale prototypes, automotive parts, furniture production, and sculptures. The enclosed frame configuration supports an internal chamber temperature of up to 60 °C, creating stable conditions in the work area. This reduces the risk of warping and delamination during the printing of large-scale models. The dual-stage extruder heating system up to 420 °C and extrusion speed up to 1000 g/h are designed for forming massive objects.

Technical Features of the Enclosed Frame

Forming parts from high-temperature polymers requires maintaining a constant temperature throughout the entire printing cycle. The enclosed frame with heating up to 60 °C implements this range of functions.

  • Geometry Stability: A constant temperature in the chamber reduces thermal fluctuations during the deposition of new layers, helping to prevent shrinkage and distortion of the product.
  • Material Compatibility: The list of compatible filaments includes PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PVA, PP, PC, PA, as well as composites with carbon and glass fiber CF/GF with a diameter of 2.85 mm.
  • Protection from External Influences: The frame isolates the work area from room temperature fluctuations and drafts.

Construction and Mechanics

The structural base of the series is designed for long-term operational loads.

  • Load-Bearing Frame: The frame made of 80 mm thick aluminum profile ensures rigidity and stability during 3D printing.
  • XY Axes: Built on industrial motion modules and designed for printing speeds up to 500 mm/s.
  • Z Axis Drive: A mechanism with a 20 mm screw and a geared motor ensures precise platform positioning.
  • Automatic Table Locking: Locks the platform and holds its position in case of power outages, vibrations, or external mechanical impacts.

Extruder System Parameters

The model is equipped with an extruder with dual-stage heating for 2.85 mm diameter filament with a material feed rate of up to 1000 g/h.

  • Temperature Range: The nozzle heats up to 420 °C, allowing the use of standard and technical filaments.

  • Automatic Leveling: The table plane detection system compensates for deviations during calibration.
  • Sensors and Recovery: The filament sensor monitors material availability, and the auto-recovery function allows printing to continue after power is restored.
  • Control and Monitoring: The device is equipped with a 10-inch color touchscreen display. The Wi-Fi module is intended for remote control, and a camera connection is also provided for process monitoring.

Operational Control Tools
