Dowell DF 1010-12 1000 × 1000 × 1200 mm is an industrial FDM printer in a closed metal case, designed for large-scale prototyping, manufacturing massive models, complex engineering components, and serial production of parts. The model is designed for high-flow printing of large objects: thanks to extrusion performance up to 1000 g/h and a high-speed nozzle, it manufactures integral large-scale structures significantly faster than other models in the series, eliminating the need to split parts into sections and subsequently glue them. Thanks to the extruder heating up to 350 °C, printing speed up to 500 mm/s, and positioning accuracy of 0.002 mm, the equipment ensures precise geometry reproduction and stable repeatability of results.

Advantages of a Closed Case and All-Metal Construction

Working with large-scale objects and technical filaments requires frame rigidity and microclimate control throughout the entire 3D printing cycle. The closed sheet metal case solves key technological challenges.

  • Prevention of shrinkage and deformation: the all-metal closed case protects the working area from thermal fluctuations when new layers are deposited, preventing warping, delamination, and ensuring interlayer adhesion and corner geometry of the product.
  • Working with engineering plastics: the closed design allows printing complex-profile parts from thermoplastics with a high shrinkage coefficient, such as ABS, ASA, PC, Nylon (PA), and their composite fillers CF/GF.

  • High-flow extrusion: the system provides a material flow up to 1000 g/h, allowing for building up walls of large-scale models without losing interlayer strength.
  • Nozzle working temperature: heating up to 350 °C ensures compatibility with materials from basic PLA and PETG to technical ABS, ASA, TPU, PVA, PP, PC, Nylon, Wood, as well as carbon fiber (CF) and glass fiber (GF).

Thermally Stable Working Platform

The stability of the geometric parameters of the part and the adhesion of the first layers are ensured by a glass surface with uniform heating.

  • Glass platform: the smooth glass surface with calculated bearing capacity ensures flatness, resistance to deformation under massive models, cleaning, and separation of finished products after cooling.
