Introducing the Form Auto hardware expansion for the Form 3+ and Form 3B+ 3D printers – Formlabs photopolymer 3D printers. It is part of the Formlabs Automation Ecosystem for SLA/LFS 3D printing.

Working in tandem with the new flexible Build Platform 2 with a steel-coated work surface, Form Auto automatically removes finished models after printing is complete and starts the next print without operator intervention. This is a complete solution for 24/7 production on your Formlabs photopolymer 3D printer. With it, affordable serial 3D printing becomes a reality – without human intervention, with minimized cost per part and labor savings of up to 80%.

What is the Automation Ecosystem?

Automation Ecosystem is a solution that includes three new products: Form Auto, Fleet Control and Resin Pumping System.

Form Auto is a hardware expansion for any of these printers: Form 3, Form 3+, Form 3B, or Form 3B+. Upon completion of a print job, Form Auto automatically opens the printer hood and removes the printed parts from the flexible Build Platform 2, after which the printer proceeds to the next print.
Fleet Control activates new advanced features in PreForm and Dashboard software that use workflow automation and optimization for advanced printer fleet management with centralized queue management and automatic printer assignment.
Resin Pumping System continuously feeds 5L of resin through a pumping system. This allows 3D printers to run continuously with 5 times fewer cartridge changes.
