ABS/PC Plastic MonoFilament 1.75 mm 0.75 kg

ABS/PC — is a structural material for 3D printing using FDM technology, made based on ABS plastic with the addition of 30% polycarbonate. The filament is suitable for printing strong mechanical parts, cases, and tools with high impact resistance and reliable interlayer adhesion. The material ensures stable printing, low wear, and a quality surface of finished products.

Material Advantages

  • Increased impact strength. The addition of polycarbonate makes the plastic much stronger than regular ABS — parts withstand strong impacts well.
  • Improved interlayer adhesion. Printed parts remain strong and resistant to delamination under load.
  • Ease and stability of printing. The material deforms less, making it significantly easier to print complex technical models than pure PC.
  • Durability of parts. Low wear level allows them to be used in mechanisms with constant friction.
  • Operation at temperatures. Printed elements retain their shape and mechanical properties in a temperature range from -10°C to +100°C.

Application Options

Thanks to the combination of rigidity and high impact toughness, this plastic is most often used in the following areas:

  • Technical nodes: parts of mechanisms operating under load.
  • Tools: strong cases, holders, and handles.
  • Protective elements: impact-resistant covers, lids, and shields.
  • Automotive components: parts requiring wear resistance and moderate heating.
  • Functional prototypes: lightweight and strong products for testing in real conditions.

Technical Specifications

For quality results, it is recommended to use 3D printers with a closed case. This helps avoid deformations and ensures print stability.

Tips from 3DDevice Experts

  • Control humidity. Store the filament in a vacuum container with a desiccant. If cracking or uneven surfaces occur, dry for 3-4 hours at a temperature of 60-70°C.
  • Print in a closed printer. This type of printing significantly reduces warping and maintains the overall quality of the part.
