Using a white LED light source, Peel 2 CAD obtains surface geometry data with a volumetric accuracy of 0.300 mm / m. It has a fairly large field of capture of 380 x 380 mm and a data acquisition rate of 550,000 points per second, which makes it possible to quickly capture geometric data and save it in any of the most popular formats.

 

Since it automatically recognizes the shape of objects and is capable of positioning not only by marks and geometry, but also by textures, it has wider possibilities for scanning objects. Thus, on some objects, Peel 2 CAD will be able to remove geometry even without first applying special marks.
