Description
Raise3D Premium PVA+ water soluble filament
PVA for 3D printing Raise3D Premium PVA+ is a support material for printing on dual-extruder printers that forms water-soluble support structures.
PVA+ material based on polyvinyl alcohol is intended for the construction of supports in the process of printing elements of a complex shape or those that require an excellent finish and dimensional accuracy. Premium PVA+ features increased thermal stability and strong adhesion in combination with PLA, PETG, PA (Nylon), etc., making it ideal for printing support structures using different filament types. PVA+ support structures dissolve well in cold water, leaving a smooth surface on the 3D printed part. This thread is non-toxic and biodegradable after dissolving in water.
Raise3D PVA for 3D printing
- Optimized formula with improved printability and thermal stability
Excellent solubility in cold water
Great for 3D printing with more than one material
The ideal support material for 3D printing
Leaves a smooth surface on other materials
Waste can be disposed of through household drains*
* This material is not 100% biodegradable, but can be disposed of through domestic drains with excess water.
Water-soluble support material
- Very convenient during 3D printing of a part of complex geometry.
- Facilitates the printing of large protrusions and cavities.
- Ideal for 3D printing parts with moving parts.
Recommendations for Premium PVA+
- After unpacking, make sure the material is properly dried before printing to avoid printing problems.
- The recommended temperature of the working surface is 60 °C.
- The printing temperature should not exceed 225 °C for more than 5 minutes.
- Raise3D Premium PVA+ is suitable for most common adhesive work surface coatings.
- The rate at which Raise3D Premium PVA+ dissolves in water depends on the volume of the print object, the amount and temperature of the water.
- Using a higher water temperature (up to 70 °C) will speed up the dissolution process. However, to prevent part deformation during the dissolution process, the water temperature should not exceed the softening temperature of the main material used, especially for PLA (water temperature below 60 °C).
