Formlabs Fuse Sift is part of the convenient ecosystem of the Formlabs Fuse 3D printer, which uses SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) additive technology.

This technology uses a high-power laser. The laser passes over the surface of a thin layer of powder material. It sinters its fine particles into a solid structure, repeating the geometry of the specified 3D model.

Further processing of parts printed in this way mainly involves extracting the finished parts from the unsintered powder in which the printed parts are located inside the build chamber.
