Description
Plastic Nylon CF10 Plexiwire
Plexiwire Nylon CF10 is a polyamide 6 (PA6) with 10% added carbon in the form of 100-200 micron chopped carbon fiber. This technology allows up to 30% increase in the strength of parts printed with Nylon CF10 compared to conventional PA6. Carbon adds strength and rigidity to printed parts and reduces their weight. Polyamide filled with carbon fiber in properties is often compared with some non-ferrous metals, and due to its low specific gravity, a huge selection of niches opens up where this material can be used.
Nylon CF10 application
Use this carbon fiber for 3D printing of light and strong parts, in parts and products for special purposes, the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, construction, sports equipment and many other goods.
Print with Carbon Filled Nylon recommendations:
Carbon-filled materials have high abrasive properties. Use a hardened steel or ruby tip nozzle. It is also important to dry the filament before printing, turn off the blower, use a closed chamber for printing.
