Kapton Tape
Heat-resistant Kapton tape is a high-temperature adhesive tape with excellent insulating properties. It is used for insulating electrically conductive surfaces. It can be used in high operating temperature conditions. It adheres easily and smooths out on wet surfaces. It is ideal for covering the heated bed when printing with 3D printers using ABS plastic.
Kapton: Applications
Thermal tape is suitable for all types of heated platforms in 3D printers. It withstands temperatures up to 300°C. It is designed for multiple uses.
The heat-resistant tape has a strong polyimide base coated with silicone adhesive, preventing the film from temperature deformation—perfect for applying to the platform of a 3D printer. Products adhere well and are easily removed from the platform after 3D printing is completed.
Kapton tape has high dielectric strength and resistance to acids and alkalis.
