Industrial Granulate 3D Printer Dowell DP-A 12 FGF
Dowell DP-A 12 1200 × 1200 × 1200 mm is a high-speed industrial 3D printer that operates using FGF (Fused Granulate Fabrication) technology and prints directly with primary plastic granulate. The model is specifically designed for creating oversized casting molds, massive equipment, master models, mock-ups, furniture elements, and serial production. Thanks to the high extrusion speed (up to 5000 g/h) and nozzle heating up to 420 °C, the printer surpasses conventional FDM models in the lineup in terms of speed for building large-scale objects, ensuring maximum cost-effectiveness when working with large volumes of material.
Design Features of the Body and Available Options
By default, the Dowell DP-A 3D printer is supplied in an open body, which is an ideal solution for quick printing of large-scale products from materials with low shrinkage and provides free access to the part during the process.
- Optional thermal chamber (for an additional fee): if there is a need to work with technical thermoplastics with a high shrinkage coefficient, the printer body can be equipped with a closed thermal chamber heated up to 60 °C. This allows for maintaining a stable temperature environment, preventing thermal shock to the layers, and eliminating deformation of finished products.
- Wide range of sizes: besides the type of body, you can choose the optimal size of the working area from the available lineup for specific tasks of your production.

Screw Extrusion System
The printer employs a high-performance 3-stage screw extruder designed for stable and uniform granule feeding (granulate diameter < 4 mm).
- High performance: extrusion speed ranges from 4000 to 5000 g/h at a printing speed of 0–300 mm/s. The heating element heats up to 420 °C in just 35 seconds, minimizing preparation time for work.
- Wide range of materials: due to the high nozzle temperature, the printer supports working with both basic plastics like PLA, PETG, TPE, ABS, and high-temperature engineering and composite granulates.
- Water cooling of the extruder: the integrated liquid cooling system protects key nodes of the print head from overheating, preventing clogs and ensuring stable operation during long printing cycles.
- Interchangeable nozzles: supports nozzles with diameters from 1.0 to 3.0 mm (including 1.2 and 2.0), allowing flexible adjustment of detail or focusing on maximum feed speed.

Kinematics and Structural Stability
- Reinforced frame: the frame is made from structural aluminum profile with a thickness of 80 mm, ensuring high rigidity and absence of vibrations during high-speed movement of the heavy extrusion head.
- Automatic raw material feeding system: the printer is equipped with a material presence control sensor. Granule feeding from the reservoir to the extruder is carried out automatically, ensuring uninterrupted printing without constant operator involvement.
Thermostable Work Platform
- Table design: the working surface consists of 6 mm tempered glass and a silicone heating element. This ensures quick and even heat distribution across the entire area.
- Temperature mode and strength: the table heats up in the range of 0–100 °C, guaranteeing the stability of the first layers against deformation. The platform can withstand high loads weighing hundreds of kilograms.
Automation and Control Interface
- Automatic leveling: high-precision sensors scan the platform height in real-time, and algorithms automatically compensate for deviations.
- Display and connectivity: the model is equipped with a 10-inch full-color touchscreen. Wi-Fi connection is supported for remote control, file transfer, and remote maintenance/system updates.
- Control tools: the ability to change speed, extrusion flow, and cooling directly during printing. Available are a G-code viewer, temperature graphs, print history, and an emergency stop button. A connector for connecting an external surveillance camera is provided.
