Formlabs Tough 1500 V2 in a large 5 liter container has 10 times higher fracture resistance, 3 times better elongation at break and increased impact resistance compared to V1.1. The new formula is also more resistant to UV, moisture and temperature.

Formlabs Tough 1500 V2 in a 5 liter capacity is an ideal solution for engineering 3D printing, providing high strength, impact resistance, and elasticity of parts. The large volume allows you to significantly reduce printing costs and ensure a continuous production process.

Comparison with the previous version

The updated Tough 1500 V2 has improved mechanical properties compared to Tough 1500 V1.1. With higher impact strength, 3 times the elongation at break, and 10 times the fracture resistance, this resin delivers consistent results in professional 3D printing.

In addition, the new formula has a dark gray hue similar to Tough 2000, which improves the aesthetics of printed parts.

 

 

Compatibility

  • Compatible with Formlabs Form 4 series printers.
  • Expected biocompatibility – the material is currently being tested for biocompatibility certifications, just like Tough 1500 V1.1. Estimated completion date for certification is 2 months after launch.
