- Powerful 30W laser
A laser three times more powerful allows printing with new materials and increases printing speed.
- Higher printing speed – time-saving
The printing speed mainly depends on the material, object geometry, and the density of parts packing in the Work Chamber. Compared to the Fuse 1, the new Fuse 1+ 30W with Nylon 12 powder, for example, can reduce printing time by 50%.
- Additional nitrogen supply
The Fuse 1+ 30W has received a new nitrogen supply function – through a nitrogen generator or gas cylinders. 3D printing in an inert gas atmosphere improves the mechanical properties of Nylon 11-based materials and additionally improves the powder recovery characteristics of Nylon 11, which is 50%.
- New exclusive materials
Thanks to the more powerful laser and nitrogen supply, the Fuse 1+ 30W can also process carbon fiber-filled powder PA11 CF – in addition to all previous Formlabs SLS powders. This material is ideal for printing lightweight finished products that require both rigidity and high strength and impact resistance over time.
- Low refresh rate
With the best-in-class refresh rate of only 30-50%, the Fuse production line ensures the most efficient powder recovery. Thanks to innovative new technology, up to 70% of the powder can be recycled.
- Improved hopper geometry
The new carbon fiber material Nylon 11 CF is less prone to shedding and easier to clump. The modified hopper and agitator geometry ensure that even complex materials can be fed evenly and without clumping.

Specifications of Formlabs Fuse Sift
Formlabs Fuse Sift is a multifunctional post-processing station for removing excess SLS powder and recovering it for reuse in printing. A convenient innovative combined device, simple and safe to use.
To prevent the powder material from escaping into the external environment during the extraction of printed objects, a vacuum is created in the Fuse Sift using an industrial vacuum cleaner (not included in the package). The industrial vacuum cleaner connects directly to the Fuse Sift and is controlled by it. When working with the closed system, a transparent cover protects the user. After cleaning all printed parts of the powder, its excess in the working area can be sieved through a sieve and collected in a collection container for further use.
